Ann-Hua Seeking for 2021 Board Candidates

Dear parents, teachers, students, and friends:

As the new year approaches, Ann-Hua’s annual Board Member Election will begin again. This year, we have three directors whose terms are expiring. According to Ann-Hua’s Bylaws issued on May 23, 2018, the Board of Directors will be expanded to 12 members. Therefore, there are 4 empty seats to be elected in 2021, and we need at least 4 candidates to participate in the election.

On November 27, 2020, the Board of Directors approved the establishment of an independent Director Election Committee and authorized it to organize the 2021 board election based on “Ann-Hua Association Board Election Rules” and “2020-21 School Year Ann-Hua Association Board Member Election Schedule ” . The members of the 2021 Election Committee are: Xiaoli Zhang (Chair), Zhu Li (Secretary), Jing Yang (Current board member), Qing Lin (Member of School’s Administrative team), Hua Jiang (Current teacher/parent #1), Yan Lei (Current parent volunteer #1), Wei Zhang (Current parent volunteer #2), Yao Fu (Current parent volunteer #3), Rong Wu (Member of Center’s administrative team), Jin Shi (Non-current parent), Yingmin Li (Member of Rainbow administrative team).

Qualifications to be an Ann-Hua member and a director candidate:

1) To be a member of Ann-Hua Association: any resident living in Washtenaw and surrounding seven counties (Wayne, Oakland, Livingston, Ingham, Jackson, Lenawee, Monroe) aged 18 and above who agree and abide by the Ann-Hua Bylaws can become Ann-Hua members. 2) To be a Director Candidate: Members who are familiar with Ann-Hua’s various activities and passionate for community services can register as candidates for Ann-Hua’s Board of Directors in 2021. The directors of the Ann-Hua Association conduct daily work in accordance with the duties of the directors and the board of directors of the association (Policy #1100). We welcome those who are willing to serve Ann-Hua and the Chinese community to register for the election. Candidate registration starts from December 7, 2020, and the deadline is January 8, 2021. The online voting will be held from January 15, 2021 to 11:59pm of February,12, 2021. The Record Date of the election is January 4^th, 2021. Members registered prior to January 4^th, 2021 are entitled to vote. 各位家长、老师、同学、朋友们：

大家好！在新的一年即将来临之际，安华年度董事会成员换届选举又将开启。今年我们有3位董事任期到期，另外还需新增一位董事使董事总数增加到12名。所以需要至少4名候选人员参与2021年的换届选举。

董事会于2020年11月27日成立独立的董事选举委员会（简称：选举委员会），并且将按照“安华协会董事会选举规则”和“2020-2021学年安华协会董事会选举时间安排”具体负责实施2021年董事会选举。2021年安华董事会选举委员会成员如下：张晓丽（主任）, 李竹（秘书），杨晶，林青，姜华，雷燕，章巍，扶遥，吴荣，史瑾，李应敏。

依据选举委员会的讨论决定，对会员和董事会候选人资格在章程的规定下作如下的具体要求：

(1) 凡居住在Washtenaw郡及周边七个郡（Wayne、Oakland、Livingston、Ingham、Jackson、Lenawee、Monroe）的18岁及以上居民、同意并遵守安华章程，可成为安华会员. 注册登记会员请用此链接：https://assn.annhua.org/index.php/register/
