Dear members of Ann-Hua Association,
Thank you for your participation in Ann-Hua’s annual voting event this year. The two topics to vote on this year were (1) election of board members and (2) Restated Articles of Incorporation. The voting period ended on Feb 12, 2021, and the results are following
- 57.1% of the eligible members casted their votes for the board candidates, which meets the quorum (25%) of the election. The supporting rates for the candidates are Jiamin Bai 95%, Lu Wang 95%, Jiang Jiang 92.5% and Jianhua Zhou 90%, respectively. All of them will join 2021 Board of Directors.
- 60% of the eligible members casted their votes for the restated Article of Incorporation, which meets the quorum (25%) of the election. The restated Article of Incorporation was approved by the majority vote (the supporting rate = 92.86%).
Ann-Hua Association thank you for your continuous support to Ann-Hua. The Board of Directors also would like to thank all the members of 2021 Election Committee for their hard work. Let’s welcome our four new board members, and wish Ann-Hua to a higher level in the coming year.

感谢您积极参与2021年度安华协会会员投票。本次年度投票议题包括新董事选举和安华宪章修改两项内容。经过近一个月的选票收集，本次投票于2021年2月12日结束。现将结果通报如下：
- 新董事选举会员投票率为57.1%，超过章程规定的法定人数(>25%)，为有效选举。四位候选人的支持率分别为柏家敏95%、王璐95%、江江92.5%及周建华90%。四位候选人均高票当选。
- 安华宪章申报修改议题，会员投票率为57.1%，超过章程规定的法定人数(>25%)，为有效选举。有效票中同意宪章修改占92.86%，为大多数，该议题通过。

How to cast my vote 投票步骤
Due to the COVID situation, the election will be carried out online completely this year. Please follow the steps below to cast your vote.受疫情影响，今年的投票将全部在网上完成。请按照下属步骤填写并提交选票。
1. Visit https://assn.annhua.org/index.php/user to access “My Records“, or log in to “My Account“, and click “Go to Voting“. 点击https://assn.annhua.org/index.php/user 进入”My Records 会员记录“页面；或登录您的账户(”My Account 我的账户“)，点击”Go to Voting 访问投票页面” 。
2. Click the gear sign next to your profile picture, and click “Edit Profile”. The ballot will appear under your picture. 点击头像旁边的齿轮标志，点击”Edit Profile 选项”。选票将在头像下方出现。
3. Fill the ballot or choose “I don’t want to vote”. When you finish, click “Update”. 填写选票或选择弃权；完成所有选项后，点击”Update”。
4. You can make changes any time before February 12th. You choices as on February 12th will be recorded. * Any votes casted by the members registered after January 4th, 2021 will not be counted. 在2月12日以前，您可以对您的选择进行修改；2月12日当日您的选票将被作为最终结果进行记录。*在2021年1月4日后注册的会员提交的选票不计入投票结果。
Who can vote 投票权
Members of Ann-Hua Association who registered on the website of Ann-Hua Association prior to January 4th, 2021 are entitled to vote. 凡在2021年1月4日前在安华协会网页注册的安华会员拥有投票权。
When to vote 投票时间
January 15th to February 12th, 2021. 2021年1月15日至2月12日。 （The Record Date was January 4th, 2021. The candidate registration closed on January 8th. 会员记录日为2021年1月4日。候选人征集截至为2021年1月8日）
Restated Articles of Incorporation for Ann-Hua Chinese School 安华协会/安华中文学校宪章修改
The new Bylaws of Ann-Hua Chinese School was approved by our members on September 6, 2020. Ann-Hua’s mission and purposes are updated in the newly-approved Bylaws, which is also improved to meet the provisions of the NONPROFIT CORPORATION ACT and IRS regulations related to 501c (3) non-profit tax-exempt organizations. As a result, Ann-Hua’s Articles of Incorporation need to be updated to reflect the changes in the Bylaws, mainly on Articles 2.01, 20.3, 3.16 and Chapter 11. The restated Articles of Incorporation and the amended Bylaws will be filed to the state and federal governments.

Jiamin bai 柏家敏
It is grateful for me to be introduced into Ann-Hua Community as Plymouth Canton Chinese Learning Center (PCCLC) is merged with. It has been my privilege to help lead PCCLC for the past 14 years, to help establish a language learning curriculum, to work on center facility and funding program to survive with small number of students with The board and admin teams. I have also actively involved and worked in many other local Chinese community associations. From these experiences I learned about language teaching and cultural development in the community, collaboration and planning. I believe Ann-Hua community development plan has a bright future and it is my hope to offer my experience to help accomplish the plan.
Lu Wang 王璐
哈佛大学博士，密西根大学终身教授、博士生导师，Journal of the American Statistical Association杂志副主编，Biometrics杂志副主编，University of Michigan Association of Chinese Professors (UM-ACP) 成员。
安华家长，近年来曾多次参加安华中文学校组织的各种活动，并组织了2017年安华学生乐器演奏会中的一场圣诞演出。曾身为安华舞蹈队以及安华俪人舞蹈队的成员，多次代表安华参加地区及全国性的演出和比赛，并获得了2019年国际桃李杯芝加哥赛区的十佳铂金奖，最佳技巧奖，以及2019-2020国际桃李杯舞蹈大赛美东总决赛的十佳铂金奖。
Jianhua Zhou 周建华
I used to serve as VP for Ann Hua Chinese School. I also served as City of Ann Arbor Cable Communication Commissioner. I’d like to serve the members and community.
Jiang Jiang 江江
自2008年从纽约州搬到安娜堡后，送两个孩子上中文学校，并自愿参与安华的活动至今。仍愿意继续为安华做出力所能及的贡献。
